The worst "Music" ever invented: RAP

Rap "music"(i use music in quotations because it is not music) brings anger to my life.If you haven't noticed, I HATE RAP MUSIC! It's literally just people speaking really fast and rhyming OCCASIONALLY. That talk so fast sometimes that you can't even hear them TALKING. Im using a lot of caps to get a point across. I have no clue how the hell this "music" is supposed to bring joy to peoples ears. They don't even make their own FUCKING "music". It's all samples from rock music. You can literally make a whole album as long as you have a mac, e.g; OWL CITY. Yes, Owl City is all right, however he made the whole album from his mother's basement with a mac computer. The power of technology can turn untalented people into money making musicians. Lil Wayne, from what I've read, it seems like he is actually a pretty smart guy. But his lyrics are FUCKING DUMB. I have no clue why a man so intelligent waste his time on creating rhymes in his head. Jay Z, the smartest rapper in the "game". He is extremely smart. But he doesn't really have his own ideas. He takes other songs and eliminates the original lyrics and adds his own. Do I respect him, yes, do I like his music, no. All in all I don't like rap music. IT SUCKS! Oh and remember MUSIC IS LIKE CANDY, YOU HAVE TO THROW AWAY THE RAPPERS!

No I am not using this as an adjective. Fun is the name of a band, a really good band. Lead singer Nate Reuss is an absolute genius. He has an amazing voice that kinda resembles to that of Mika. The song arrangements are interesting and soothing. My favorite song is "The Gambler". If you listen to the lyrics it describes a life with a significant other whom he loves oh so dearly from the day they met to the day they die. I will post a video of this song. Fun has only made one album, "Aim and Ignite", which is great. This is a band that never got really big but never sold out in order to get big. Yes they have a descent number of fans. But those fans hope that they don't get too popular so that the FUCKING media and world don't screw them up and play out their songs. Thats all I have to say about FUN.

American Idiot: The Musical?????

Who would of thought that Green Day would have a show on broadway, definitely not me. But believe it or not they do. It's all about this group of friends, Johnny(John Gallagher Jr.), Tunny(Stark Sands), and Will(Michael Esper), who just want to get out of the boring suburbs and into the city that never sleeps. Will ends up staying home because his girlfriend is pregnant, who eventually ends up leaving him. Tunny joins the army and gets injured really bad. Johnny is the only one who makes it into the city. Where he meets a girl, whatsername(Rebecca Naomi Jones), who he falls in love with. But then Johnny meets St. Jimmy(Tony Vincent), who is a drug dealer and basically Johnny's alter-ego. In the end the all meet back up at home and mourn on how FUCKED UP their lives are. The whole show is on one set that is really sweet. The orchestra is on stage while the show is going. Now your question might be, Is it any good? ARE YOU HIGH!? This is be far one of the best shows I've seen. Billie Joe Armstrong is a genius. This is a must see if you are a big Green Day fan. The song arrangements are great. They didn't ruin any songs, they actually might of made some better. American Idiot: The Musical. Check out the trailer on my page.

Introduction to the not so obvious

My name is Logan Perez. I am a teen living in the god forsaken streets of Inwood, New York. I hate where I live, but I have to deal with it for now. When I get out of high school I will most likely move to the city. Hopefully somewhere around the famous New York music scene, if not then Williamsburg, Brooklyn is my alternative. I listen to only a select few genres of music. Absolutely no rap music. I despise this "music" with a passion. I will have a number of blogs about this so called music, or what I like to call talking really fast. The greatest band that has ever lived is most definitely The Beatles. If you think otherwise, then you have probably never heard a song of theirs or listen to rap. This blog will mainly be about music and what I think of a certain band or song or singer. From time to time I will talk about movies, television shows, etc. I really have no boundaries to what I plan on saying in my future blogs. For that is the reason I am doing this. So be prepared for what I'm going to say and how I am going to say it. I would like more negative feedback than positive ones, so that I can better my blogs. Also if you disagree with my thoughts or opinions, don't be afraid to stir up a debate, which I love to do. Most the time I will prove you wrong.
